A Close Bunch!

We had Easter at my parents today. The kids always get new clothes for Easter and then we get them to try them one and pose! Well, we try to get them to pose...out of about 50 shots, I have 2 that look like this one! They range in ages 1 to 11. There were tears when it was time to say good bye after almost 7 hours of being together. There seemed to be little consolation in knowing they will be together again a week. It's good to see the bond they are forming. The adults Easter gift was a new unique mat for in front of the camper. That has us talking of camping...we're waiting patiently...warm weather coming soon?? I'm sure in a couple of months we will have forgotten about our cold winter that doesn't seem to go away!

I took exactly one picture yesterday! I didn't go outside for the Easter hunt, too cold:) So I didn't have a whole lot to take pictures of! Maybe tomorrow? So instead, I leave you with this quote:

I have not taken any pictures in the month of March except for some I did for Carla. I struggle with doing indoor shots. I do like how this one turned out of Brielle. Easter's coming! I might have something exciting to post after that:)

MacGregor Makes the NEWS!

Well, for the second time within a week, MacGregor has made CTV news! Last week, MacGregor made the news because of the famous "Halfway Tree" located east of town. Yesterday we made the news because of our grade 5 class. For the past couple of months, Raquel's grade 5 class has been collecting food and monetary donations for Winnipeg Harvest. Yesterday they went to Wpg Harvest to present their donation. We are all very proud of our community! You can check it out at www.ctvwinnipeg.ca The tree story is on the LH side near the bottom under "CTV Special Report". The news special on the kids can be found under the video section. You can click "Newsroom Favorite: Conner James Duclos" or "CTV Winnipeg Noon News Wed. March 5". The kids thing runs about halfway through that news cast. If you look closely, you will see Raquel a couple of times! (p.s. you will probably need high speed, at least I have trouble viewing this at home)
